Cancellation Policy

- Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled, with a complete refund, up to 2 days before the scheduled lesson time. - A fee of $50.00 will be applied to any lessons cancelled or rescheduled within 2 days of the scheduled lesson start time. - A fee of $100.00 will be applied to any lessons cancelled or rescheduled within 12 hours of the scheduled lesson start time. - No rainchecks will be issued for no-shows or cancellations within 12 hours of a lesson.

Service Description

This is the next session after the Intro to Wingsurfing. Land based class 30 mins - 1 hour Review previously learned techniques. Discuss foiling basics, entering and exiting water with foil, SEA assessment (site, environment, activity). Self Rescue, falling safely, knee taxi, standing taxi, change direction, how to stay upwind, situational awareness. Prerequisite: How to Wing Foil: Introduction (from wing handling to first flights) On Water 2 hours Carrying board to water and managing the wing Exiting the water and carrying board and wing properly Stance, foot placement Safety, Spot safety, scenarios, falling safely, avoiding the foil, jackknifes etc. Equipment set up Taxiing - going slowly on a foil board, staying up wind Jibe while taxiing Standing up and taxiing, Jibe while standing Getting on foil Generating speed and what happens Porpoising the foil Sustained rides on foil Staying up wind on foil Touch down Jibes
