Cancellation Policy

- Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled, with a complete refund, up to 2 days before the scheduled lesson time. - A fee of $50.00 will be applied to any lessons cancelled or rescheduled within 2 days of the scheduled lesson start time. - A fee of $100.00 will be applied to any lessons cancelled or rescheduled within 12 hours of the scheduled lesson start time. - No rainchecks will be issued for no-shows or cancellations within 12 hours of a lesson.

Service Description

Our goal is for you to get a solid feel for what it takes to wing board in a safe and successful manner. These classes will provide the skills necessary to do basic wing handling, teach safety, and get you your first rides on the water. Additionally, we use a 2 way communication headset to speed up the learning process and increase confidence on the water. Land based class 30 mins - 1 hour - Basic Sailing and winging concepts, i.e. wind, terminology, slang, equipment, safety. - Walkthroughs on how to hold wing, fly wing, how to go upwind, downwind, jibe, flipping wing over in water, self rescue, stance Prerequisite: How to Wing Foil: Introduction (from wing handling to first flights) On Water 2 hours - Getting up on board, windsurf type board, knee riding or taxiing - Standing up on the board, going across the wind, practice staying upwind - Jibing, how to keep wing out of water - Waterproof communication available - If appropriate, we will move you on to a foil board.
